I made it into Georgia Tech's ACO (Algorithms, Combinatorics, & Optimization) PhD program! It's really exciting--Georgia Tech has one of the best such programs in the world. And in addition, unlike UIUC, they're offerring to pay for me to visit in early April. Woohoo!
We'll see if I hear anything more in the next few days. But now, I'm really happy about my options.
