Phoenix

Just got back from spending MLK Day weekend in Phoenix with Heather and her family. They are currently engaged in a comprehensive renovation of the new house, and it was fun to see (and help out a bit with) the work in progress. And it wasn't bad at all having to wash dishes in the bathtub! (no kitchen sink yet)

The weekend was a lot of fun, some of the highlights being a game of "Star Wars Mafia" (like Mafia, but with Star Wars-themed characters/roles) that we played with a bunch of Heather's AZ friends, a hike up Camelback Mountain with Heather and Kristen, watching (on TV) the hometown Arizona Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Eagles and thus earn an unlikely trip to the Superbowl, playing Time's Up with the Schalliols and Swensons, going on runs in the perfect desert winter weather, and mainly just spending some quality time with a wonderful woman and her fantastic family. :-)

I failed to take very many pictures across the weekend, but I did manage to get some good ones on our hike up Camelback Mountain.
